Additional services we can arrange for you

Lift Passes

Would you like us to get you any lift passes ahead of time? We recommend the PDS pass. Based on the location of Chalet Grand Sapin, you have easy access to both the Super Morzine lift (accessing Avoriaz 1800) and the Pleney lift (accessing Morzine and Les Gets) within 250m of the Chalet front door.

If you prefer to choose a local Morzine and Les Gets-only pass, you will need to purchase this yourself, direct from the lift pass office upon your arrival.

LIFT PASS INSURANCE

Would you like us to add SnowRisk Insurance to your ski pass? The cost is €3.50pp per day and is simply added to the expenses total due when paying for your lift pass. You can find out more at: https://www.snowrisk.com/

PAYMENT FOR LIFT PASSES

Please note that the payment for lift passes can be paid in one of 2 ways:

1. Paid via online transfer prior to your arrival in Morzine.

2. Paid in cash Euros or via card payment during your stay in your chalet. Please note, we are unable to accept payment with an American Express card.

Airport Transfers

Please could you confirm your flight details and if you would like us to arrange any transfers for you? You can add this information into the ‘Travel’ section within your online booking.

Log in to My Booking Portal >>
We will then receive this request but will confirm all with you before making the final booking for you.

The sooner we book your transfer, the lower the price we will be able to secure. So please do let us know your flight details as soon as possible.

  • Private transfers to and from Geneva airport are €290 each way.
  • Shared transfers will be available this winter season but availability will be limited. The price is between €45-€60pp depending on how early you book.
If you are all arriving and departing together then a private makes sense!
If you have arranged your own transfers, please still let us know your flight details so we can make sure that someone is there to meet you in the Chalet when you arrive.
Check-in is at 5 pm, but if you arrive before this time there will be somewhere for you to leave your bags and head out skiing or into town for some lunch. However, due to covid guidelines, we cannot welcome you inside the chalet any earlier.

Ski Hire

If you require any ski hire we recommend using Ski Mobile. You simply reserve your items with them ahead of time and they bring all of the things to the chalet and fit you there! If you use the code of SKIOLOGY and your chalet name ( GRAND SAPIN ) to receive a 20% discount and they then know where to bring the items.
Ski Mobile: Morzine >>

If you need gloves or a hat etc there is a plethora of choices as you walk through Morzine and down to the Rue Du Bourg. Intersport has the largest choice, Slopestyle and The Woods are popular with locals (all on the Rue Du Bourg).

If you have not booked in advance with Ski-Mobile and they can’t get to you quick enough, we also get a 20% discount through Caribou Skiset. To get to Caribou Skiset, turn right out of the chalet and cross the road to Bec Jean, go past the front of Bec Jean and turn left down Combe a Zore. After 100m the shop will be on your right.

Lessons

Children’s Introduction to snow

(3 years old)

Club PiouPiou by ESF is located right at the base of the Pleney lift and conveniently located within walking distance of our central Morzine chalets. This is an excellent way for the next generation to be introduced to skis and snow and get working on that balance!

Children’s Ski School

(4 years +)

Let us introduce you to ESF Ski School. Described as a ‘Premium ski school in Morzine’ and popular with all our guests, this is a great and successful introduction to winter sports for your child.

  • For children 4+
  • A group size of 4 -6
  • Instructors who speak English and are all very experienced at teaching children.
  • A great price too!

At the end of the week your child will be tested to see if they will graduate to the next level, they may gain a badge and a certificate or they may not. If you would prefer for your child not to be a part of this system, it is best to opt for private lessons.

The meeting point for the Ski School is at the bottom of the Pleney telecabine where you meet at their office for the first day. This is just 250m from Apartment Petit George. The ski school will give you directions for the following days (typically meeting at the op of the telecabine).

The creche welcomes children aged between 6 months and 3 years old, it’s open every day except Saturdays between 8.30am and 5pm, beginning on Sunday 24th December.

Dietary Allergies & Requirements

Dietary Allergies

Please do let us know if you have any medical dietary requirements that your chef should know about. All our team are trained to manage allergens in the kitchen and we also have a complete free-from menu. We understand the absolute importance of delivering your foodie ski free from the menu in a way that provides you with complete confidence. Therefore, if you would like to speak to Sophie, our ‘free from chef ‘ who creates the free-from menu, she will gladly talk you through the Skiology kitchen practices and team procedures to give you peace of mind.

Dietary preferences

Our Skiology chalets are all set menu chalets where the menu has been carefully crafted by our team in line with our Passion for Good Food ethos. We have set menu options for the major allergies and preferences mentioned above. However, anything outside of this becomes tricky to cater to in the mountains. So please do get in touch well in advance of your holiday if you wish to make specific menu requests and be aware that this may be subject to additional fees.
