Lovely things said about Skiology from those in the know

Food & Travel: “Chalets with the best chefs”

“When the Turner Brothers, Luke and Dom, decided to turn their passion for skiing in to a full time job, they created Skiology. With considerable cooking experience under their belts (Luke turned down a job a Heston Blumental’s Fat Duck restaurant), they took the unprecedented approach of working with the U.K’s top catering schools to offer placements for students in their chalets (currently 2 in Les Carroz and 1 in Morzine). By recruiting chefs with a genuine passion for food, they have guaranteed quality of cuisine is in keeping with their own high standards.

The Turners have brought a fresh, young approach to their chalets introducing Nintendo Wiis in each property as well as TV’s linked to the Internet to view conditions on the mountain. They will bring you tea and coffee in bed, drive you to the slopes and also work with the carbon offsetting charity Cool Earth to neutralise the Carbon emission of the chalet and it’s guests.

This Winter head chef Dom will be hosting guests at the chalet Deux Freres, where he will be serving dishes such as slightly spiced bloody Mary tomato soup and garlic and rosemary infused roast lamb. Be sure to try some of Dom’s Bolivian Banana bread, a firm favourite with loyal guests at Deux Freres”
