SKI SCHOOLS

Ski school is a great introduction or continuation of tuition for the next generation of skiers and boarders!

Morzine town center:

Chalet George, Grand Sapin, Ibex & Petite Ibex

From our central Morzine chalets, you have easy access to both main lifts, two sides of the valley to ski on and lots of places to meet for lunch. Easily accessible should you want to pop back between or after lessons or simply to get an extra layer or two!

GETTING TO THE MEETING POINT

Some ski schools such as ESF will meet on the first day at their office which is located opposite the bottom of the Pleney telecabine. They will then provide details of where the meeting point will be for the rest of the week. Normally this is at the top of the Pleney telecabine.

CHECK IN VS. FIRST DAY OF SKI SCHOOL

If you choose ski school and are staying in one of our Sunday – Sunday chalets please be sure to make sure that lessons start on a Monday since Monday will be your first day on the mountain.

Les Prodains/Avoriaz:

SKI SCHOOL RECOMMENDATIONS

If you choose ski school and are staying in one of our Sunday – Sunday chalets please be sure to make sure that lessons start on a Monday since Monday will be your first day on the mountain.

GETTING TO THE MEETING POINT

  • Avoriaz Alpine ski school start on Monday so are great if your holiday runs from Sunday to Sunday (Hibou).
  • For Atelier, ESF starts on Sunday and meet at the top of the cable car which is perfect.

Avoriaz Alpine Ski School and Evolution 2 ski schools meet at the Plateau. To get to the Plateau one simply takes the chair lift up next to the cable car, Avoriaz Alpine Ski School have a video showing the way here!

If it is your time on snow and the chair lift does not look like your cup of tea then we recommend taking a horse-drawn cart! This was recommended to us by our guests. One simply arrives at the top of the cable car, picks up the free to use phone in the phone box and just like calling a cab, one appears, the cost is around €10.

  • ESF is most likely to be the most cost-effective. Previous guests say that Francois Baud is great for adults.
  • Easytoride has been really popular with guests and is a similar price. Antoine has come recommended by guests.
