We know that our guests do not want to cancel a ski holiday. But with the unfamiliar circumstances that we all find ourselves in, there is the possibility it is unavoidable for some. So we’ve updated our new booking terms so you can Book With Confidence. Although Travel insurance companies are beginning to offer more and more Covid related cover, there are just some scenarios you cannot get cover for. This is where we aim to fill in the gap. You can now book your next ski holiday safe in the knowledge that your investment booking/money is safe should things change and you need to postpone or cancel your holiday.

Covid 19 – Book with Confidence

These terms are applicable to any holiday starting 27th July 2021 and beyond. Peace of mind for you and your whole family, even in the times of Covid-19.

NOTICE PERIOD

0 – 10 DAYS

If you are prevented from travelling to your holiday due to one of the following being in place within 10 days prior to your arrival: 

  1. You are unable to travel on your holiday due to national government restrictions from your country of residence prohibiting travel to France (e.g national lockdown); or
  2. France closes its borders to arrivals from your country of residence; or
  3. Upon arrival in France you are required to quarantine; or
  4. The ski resort to which your Skiology holiday is booked is closed

Upon timely payment of your full holiday balance, (due 10 weeks prior to your arrival) you qualify for a refund under these terms and can choose one of the following options:

100% Credit Note

100% Credit Note

A credit note to the value of your Skiology booking payment will be offered for use within 24 months, subject to availability. To qualify for this option, you must have paid your full holiday balance on time and in full. No refunds will be given for partial use of this credit note

50% Refund

50% Refund

Skiology will refund 50% of the amount you have paid to us less an administration charge of 50% per person which we will be permitted to retain. This will be issued within 28 days of cancellation. At the date that your holiday was due to take place, your refund will increase to 100% if we have successfully resold the holiday.

If you wish to cancel for any reason more than 14 weeks prior to your holiday start date.

You will receive a refund less your booking deposit.

TRAVEL INSURANCE FOR RESTRICTIONS

Our new booking terms are designed to cover you when governments put any of these Covid-19 related travel restrictions in place for everyone. It does not cover you if you, or a party member, cannot travel due to being a close contact or displaying Covid-19 symptoms, either before your holiday or in the resort or any regional or UK quarantine requirements. Travel insurance companies are now offering such products and please make sure your travel insurance will cover you for these situations.

Covid 19 – Book with Confidence

These terms are applicable to any holiday starting 12th Dec 2020 and beyond. Complete financial peace of mind, for you and your whole family, even in the times of Covid-19.

NOTICE PERIOD

0 – 10 DAYS

CIRCUMSTANCES

If you are prevented from travelling to your holiday due to one of the following being in place within 10 days prior to your arrival: 

  1. A government national travel ban from your country of residence against France
  2. France closes its borders to arrivals from your country of residence
  3. Upon arrival in France you are required to quarantine
  4. The ski resort your Skiology holiday is booked within is closed.

REFUND / VOUCHER

You can choose either:

1) Full Credit Note

2) Or a Refund

100% Credit Note

Refund

Skiology will refund all monies paid by you less a 25% admin fee issued within 28 days of cancellation. At the date that your holiday was due to take place, your refund will increase from 75% to 100% if we have successfully resold the holiday.
