Chez Nannon – Morzine

Tucked away in the Nyon sector of Morzine, Chez Nannon is a charming mountain-side restaurant set in a lovingly restored old cow shed. It’s one of the resort’s most historic spots and a favourite for locals and visitors alike. Expect hearty Savoyard dishes, friendly service, and a cosy alpine atmosphere — a must-visit for any ski day.

L’Passage – Super Morzine

A lively, good-value lunch stop with sunny views of Mont Blanc. Known for its famous croutes — wine-infused cheesy toasts with toppings like porcini mushrooms — and excellent desserts. Ideal for a quick bite or a long, lazy lunch in the sun.

Les Marmottes – Lindarets

If you’re after lunch in the sunshine, Les Marmottes is the spot. The team are always friendly, the food is hearty, and the large terrace catches every bit of mountain sun — pack the sun cream!

Le Yeti – Avoriaz

Just a short ski from La Folie Douce, Le Yeti is a popular slope-side stop for generous helpings of classic mountain food. Grab a seat on the sunny terrace and dig into fondue, raclette, tartiflette, or a hearty plate of lasagne — and save room for a crêpe to finish. Les Ancelles – Lindarets

At the bottom of the Mossettes chairlift, Les Ancelles is the perfect sun-trap lunch spot when skiing from Avoriaz or Ardent. The team are always friendly, the terrace has beautiful views, and the hearty regional dishes — from bubbling tartiflette to beef bourguignon with chanterelles — are just what you want after a morning on the slopes.

Le Fangle – Avoriaz

A charming alpine hideaway in the old village above Avoriaz, with a warm fireplace, hearty Savoyard dishes, and a sunny terrace. A favourite for relaxed lunches and authentic mountain comfort.

Le Vaffieu – Les Gets (via Belvédère Chairlift)

A charming chalet restaurant on the Pléney slopes with all-day sun, generous homemade dishes, and famous desserts — the crème brûlée and raspberry tart are a must. A popular lunch spot, so book ahead.

Les Trappeurs – Avoriaz

A relaxed, slope-side favourite with sunny terraces, hearty Savoyard dishes, and quick snacks to grab between runs. Ideal for families and friends to refuel after a morning on the mountain.

La Paika - Les Gets

A sun-soaked terrace, panoramic views, and an irresistible barbecue of tiger prawns, côte de boeuf, and lamb chops — La Paika is a must for long, lazy lunches in Les Gets. Slightly off the main run but always worth the detour. Book ahead.

Chez Babeth – Châtel

A festive, character-filled restaurant in the Pleine Dranse basin known for its cosy chalet décor, hearty food, and the famously witty Babeth who runs it. Unique, lively, and best enjoyed with an open mind — and a reservation!

Le Belvédère – Les Gets

Enjoy sweeping views of the Mont Blanc range from this scenic restaurant and brasserie at the top of the Mont Chéry cable car. In winter, skiers can grab a quick bite at the Chéry’Snack before heading back out.

Evening Restaurants

Clin d’Oeil

A touch of South Western cuisine in the Alps. Chef-owned and run means consistently good quality at the Clin d’Oeil. A lovely fusion of local dishes and dishes from the South West of France.

Hotel du lac

An included return taxi ride away, set on the serene Lac De Montriond, a spot for those in the know this winter. Hotel du Lac is a newly refurbished hideout away from the bustle of Morzine. With an inventive menu of ethically sourced gastro classics such as “Local Pan fried trout, tomato, beurre blanc, herb gnocchi & herb salad” vegetarian and vegan alternatives.

Hideout hostel

One of our team’s favourite hangouts. Asian street food with different weekly specials. You may recognise former team member Oscar from our chalets La Roche and L’Isiere who heads up the kitchen here and continues his legacy of 6/5 food. Great vibe, great food and is sympathetic to vegetarians and vegans.

Le Grange

Great food in a lovely, old converted barn, a romantic destination that we often recommend for couples.

L’Etale

The longest menu in town! Most guests choose L’Etale as you are sure to find something for everyone including pizza and all-you-can-eat fondue, raclette and hot stone!

La Rotonde Restaurant

Sister restaurant to L’Etale, a little calmer than L’Etale. Steph and Dom’s default choices some of our family favourites are ribs, ladies’ steak, pizza Italian and Thai beef salad!

La Chamade

A bit like Marmite, guests have said this is both the best and worst restaurant in Morzine. If you have been before, the restaurant has recently been renovated and now has an open plan kitchen with a chef’s dining table and quirky downstairs wine bar.

Folie Douce

Folie Douce On the plateau in Avoriaz. You can’t miss it. Folie Douce is probably the most famous chain of Apres ski bars in the Alps! Join the party every day from 15:00-18:30.

Le Shooters Bar

Le Shooters Bar  Located in the heart of the resort, there is live music twice a day, after skiing and in the early evening from 22:00. The speciality here is the shooters with over 50 different recipes on offer!

Café Le Fantastic

Café Le Fantastic A large sunny terrace right on the snow front, this is an ideal place to call in for a sundowner. Often has DJs playing too. 

Bar Robinson

Bar Robinson A traditional French bar, one of the oldest in Morzine run by the same family for 3 generations!  always popular and home of the famous Mutzig beer. Busy between 16:00-19:00.

Le Tremplin

The Tremplin Down near the Pleney always hosts some lively parties. 

Le Crepu

Le Crepu Further up in town on the road coming down from Le Pleney Bubble. Another friendly spot with a nice vibe, it is also really close to the Cavern & the Tibetan Cafe, literally just downstairs, so you can keep your night out in one area without having to brave the cold night air and snowfall.

The Cavern

Just under Crepu, the Cavern is one of the main nightspots in Morzine. Good, friendly bar with a live DJ and screens showing ski and snowboard movies. Open until 2am.
