The Team

Skiology Brother Luke Turner is our food and beverage manager, he is in charge of the all important Skiology Menu and is also part of the creative team that founded and constantly develops Skiology. After two years of building the Skiology menu Luke is now based in the UK working as development chef at Fortnum and Masons ! Luke continually searches out new and exciting recipes to add to the Skiology cookbook. From time to time Luke makes a cameo chef appearance in the chalets during the season. Luke now spends summer educating Brother Dom how to prepare the following season's menu.

The other half of the founding Skiology Brothers Team. Dom is most likely the first person who you will speak to (unless you call during chalet maintenance season October until November, when you will hear Dom DIYing away in the background !) Dom is responsible for sales and also hosts and chefs in Chalet Deux Freres. After two years of training Dom has taken over from Luke as head chef and is responsible for training the hosts how to prepare the Skiology menu.

Steph - words can't describe quite how wonderful she is ... so we shall just outline briefly what she is in charge of  ... Steph is hostess in Chalet Deux Freres (Les Carroz) where she rules the roost as Queen of the kitchen. Steph is in charge of bopping people on the head (accounts) and as girlfriend of founding director Dom she is basically in charge of everything (it only took Dom 2 years of them being together to realise who the true boss is !)

On this Roche we build our empire, Clodagh is our rock and Morzine resort manager. Clodagh is in charge of exporting and developing the Skiology brand to Morzine. Clodagh has great creative input to the company and is really helping us formalise our brand. In short Skiology ♥ Clodagh

Rose is AWESOME, everybody loves her and you will too. Rose has just graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in psychology which is pretty cool but not as cool as when she raps 'Pass out - by Tiny Temper'. Rose is passionate about cooking, serving delicious food, making people feel as though they were at home and slaying black runs. Previously Rose ran a Summer camp for groups of 60 children, reinventing the menu and doing all the cooking and cleaning, so serving 8 should be a doddle ! One last thing Rose is currently studying A-level biology to help her become a doctor so please wish her luck. 

Katy has sadly left us to go back to the U.K (Jan 2012). Katy is a super bright engineer and has returned to the U.K to pursue her carrer in engineering. Should you bump into her she has the most incredible maths skills, like ridiculous maths skills, so ask her a little sum from us ! Katy (Rose's bestie) also just graduated from Cambridge.

Gideon : ’Ultimate chalet host cookery course graduate’, former Ski Beat chalet host and now … Skiology managerial assistant !

Heather : Former Flotilla hostess & self confessed hostessing addict … we have brought Heather from cooking on boats at 30 degree angles to way above sea level and steadily residing as hostess and chef in Chalet Du Bois !

Grace is not only a graduate from the Bournemouth University Hospitality course, she is also a former Ski Verbier chalet hostess and chef ! Grace is coming to Carroz to work as a managers assistant which means ... Grace will be helping out in Chalet Deux Freres by cooking breakfasts, transfer driving (Grace is from a military family and can put snow chains on, blind folded, with one hand tied behind her back and then other hand plucking a goose !) and Grace will also be helping with accounting bits and bobs.

Sophie is a self confessed mother hen and is coming to take care of one and all who come and stay in Chalet Du Bois this Winter. Sophie is everything from Celiac chef of the year to Motorcross rider. Sophie is the sort of person who will be calling the boss to ask if he wants to go to the bar 5 minutes after everyone in her chalet has finished dinner because she has finished, while the boss is surrounded by pots, pans and chaos in his kitchen. Like Steph and Clodagh, Sophie is likely to be better at the job that the boss loves doing - chalet chef and hosting.

Only 3 times so far have me met people when regardless of if they want a job we have all thought lets get that person on board, Mitch is one of these people and even better he was after a job ! Mitch is from Bournemouth University's tourism course and although not a traditionally trained chef Mitch has recently finished a prestigious Orchards Cookery School course, last we spoke he was working in a restaurant where he was preparing dinner for Alan Sugar !
