Morzine - Portes Du Soleil

Morzine - Portes Du Soleil

Morzine is part of the Portes Du Soleil which boasts 650 km of pistes and still only 1 hr and 15 minutes from Geneva Airport.

Morzine is a good fun lively alpine village. Our Morzine chalet is just below the high speed Prodains cable car which speeds you straight up to Avoriaz 1800. From Avoriaz you can choose to Ski/Board internationally into Switzerland, sample one of the nine snow parks or ski one of the 266 pistes that will hopefully end up with your return journey down the blue 'le Crot' piste to 200m from the chalet.

Our top three things to do duing your stay in the Portes Du Soleil ...

Quite simply ... a village of goats !

... Okay so there is more to it than that ! The beautiful hamlet more formally known as Les Lindarets is accessible during the winter months by Ski / Board only ! As well as being an Alpine curiosity, Les Lindarets also contains a rather nice selection of restaurants too !

James Bond alert !

"Darling i am just popping over to Switzerland for a coffee !" - You just don't get a more James Bond sentence than that !! Because the Portes Du Soleil ski area is both in France and Switzerland one can simply hop from one side to the other ! Don't forget your passport though ! You don't want to end up in an International Police chase !

Snow parks

The Portes Du Soleil boasts 9 snow parks in total. 3 of the best are in Avoriaz just minutes from the chalet. There is everything from a super 1/2 pipe, to a crash mat for practicing your big airs to Burton's famous 'Stash'.
