About Skiology

We're not a faceless tour operator, we're a family run business that cares about our guests, and the mountains we ski on.

The Turner Brothers concept

Skiology have revolutionised the standard catered chalet formula!

We've created business links with the best Catering and Hospitality courses in the UK, by working with their placement students we continue to offer better food and service. The students have an active interest in food, at least 2 years experience in the kitchen and rather than ‘doing a season’ are working towards their final degree mark.

All of our recipes are designed to create overall nutritious delicious dishes without sacrificing the flavour. We can cater for any dietary requirements and realise the importance of dedicated childrens menus (please let us know when you book your holiday.)

A sample menu is available to drool over.

"Luke and I completed our first season together in 2005 working for a large tour operator company and have since poured our hearts and souls in to creating our own company fueled by the belief that we could improve on the existing catered chalet formula.

I am personally in resort to insure everything lives up to your expectation, I also host our flagship chalet".

Having worked my way up through various establishments I became Head Chef at a young age and successfully completed a Degree in Hospitality business development. Drawing from my experience, we have taken traditional British and International dishes, adding a touch of originality to create a delectable menu. Fresh ingredients are always used and a focus on extremely tasty and where possible healthy cuisine is abided by.

And the environment?

It’s on everyones minds at the moment; how will climate change affect the ski slopes? We want to do our bit to help.

Being conscious of climate change means we try to be as environmentally friendly as possible. For example: buying local produce, buying produce with as little packaging as possible and recycling whatever we can.

You can help too!

Flying London to Geneva and back omits about half a ton of CO2 per person into the atmosphere. To combat this there are schemes which will neutralise these omissions by planting trees.

The website www.greenseat.nl calculates that it would take 26 trees to grow for a year to compensate for all the CO2 and other greenhouse gas released during your travel.

Before you run outside and start tearing up your garden they will do this for you for less than 10 Euros! If you love the mountains and ultimately the fragile world we live in, please do help us give something back.

There are also other organisations that also look to save our environment:
